‘Education is what survives when what has been learnt has been forgotten’ -- B.F. Skinner ‘The right way to do things is not to try to persuade people you're right but to challenge them to think it through for themselves’ – Noam Chomsky
If you think education is expensive.... Try ignorance"
I believe that education in its simplest definition is preparation for life. Life being most precious, it is is the responsibility to prepare the young people not only for a better but a higher quality of life. This calls for re-engineering the educational transactions, technology, environment, social values and culture. These changes have become inevitable in the mark of increasing globalization, setting up of E-communities and the demand for a global citizen.
Indeed the task ahead is a challenging one. To face it, we need a better and more resourceful task force. Our teachers re-orient themselves from the class room centre stage and play the redefined role of a facilitator, innovator and effective manager.
